2nd STORE OPENED IN MOOROOPNA!

At the end of 2023, North End Bakehouse purchased Billy's Bakehouse in Mooroopna to expand to a 2nd store.

Matt began his apprenticeship there in 2006 and continued until leaving to purchase North End Bakehouse(Previously Angies Bakehouse/Rennies Bakehouse) in 2014.

The Mooroopna location has had an extensive renovation to bring it up to the gold standard the business is known for!

Putting a little-known bakery, on the national stage!

Current owners, Matt & Shekiah Aylett have been running North End Bakehouse (Previously Angies Bakehouse & Rennies Bakehouse) since early 2014.

The goal has always been to provide the best quality products and service at a great price.

And with loads of awards, including 4 National Titles, the business continues to grow and strive to provide even more amazing products to the Goulburn Valley.

In 2021 & 2022 they were awarded Australia's Best Hot Cross Bun titles, and in 2023 were finally able to take out the position of Australia's Best Vanilla Slice & 1st Place in The Great Australian Vanilla Slice Triumph!

The walls are lined with various trophies and awards for many of their products including pies, sausage rolls etc, but Vanilla Slice has been Matt's biggest focus since starting a baking apprenticeship way back in 2006.

It is a full range bakery, offering all of the usual products you expect, as well as many items you wont see anywhere else.

Breads, Cakes, Slices, Pies, Pasties, Sausage Rolls, Salad Rolls, Coffee...

And there is always something special on the shelves that you must grab before its all gone!

Supporting the locals

Over the years, there have been rough times for locals with the Covid Pandemic and the Victorian Floods, and everyone has been able to find comfort in yummy baked goods!

North End Bakehouse tries to offer as many special deals as we can to make things just that little bit easier...and delicious at the same time!

They also ran a Cookie Dough fundraiser after the local floods to raise money for people who had lost so much. With a donation of 100% of the proceeds, a massive total of $7,000 was handed over to GV Cares.
